The TRM Promise of Life Program has two options, a 6 month program and a 9 month program with three (3) rooms available for housing mothers in need, the average of both programs is 5 mothers a year graduating from the program.

$7,800: The cost per participant that graduates from the 6 month  program 

$1,300: Monthly expense to sponsor one mother through the 6 or 9 month program with the following services:

· $600 Housing, with fully furnished room for both mother & baby’s needs.

· $500 20 hour monthly Promise of Life Counseling Program

· $100 Transportation to counseling & appointments involving the TRM program.

· $100 Utilities (water, gas heat, electricity, phone, sewer, garbage)

$1,300.00 Monthly total cost for each resident

· Fully furnished TRM housing, along with “everything a mother & baby might possibly need”

· Maternity and post-transitional clothing for mothers/newborn and infant clothing/items

· Proper nutrition

· Christian Counseling, spiritual/educational/parenting guidance, and women's Bible study

· Labor Doula Services & Prolife birthing/parenting classes offered

· Group classes in anger management, domestic violence, drug & alcohol, AA, NA CA Victorious 12 step program

· Support for court related issues/assessments and documentation, monitoring & supervised visitations

· Transportation for medical needs, court appearances, shopping, and church related activities

· Support for transitioning into permanent housing along with help in job search skills and networking

$50,000: Thiessen Roadhouse Ministries Yearly Operating Expenses

The minimum monthly expenses for Thiessen Roadhouse Ministries (TRM) to operate and provide services for the TRM Birthing Program “The Promise of Life” is approximately $50,000 a year. This yearly total comes into TRM in the form of contributions, pledges, sponsorships, donations, and monetary gifts. TRM also receives funds from residents who are in the position to pay monthly rents. Organizations and local churches can also be involved by sponsoring a mother & child. The TRM also provides Christian counseling and select classes such as, Anger Management, Domestic Violence, Drug & Alcohol, as well as, Labor & Birthing Doula services by donation for clients outside of the ministry.  To meet operating expenses, additional fundraisers are held by various civic organizations, church fellowships, youth groups, & volunteer staff members by conducting garage/plant sales, car washes, clothing drives & an annual benefit auction.

† Thiessen Roadhouse Ministries (TRM) is a non-profit organization that responds to pregnant women and mothers with services and Christian counseling. Each applicant is reviewed by the Board of  Directors on basis of need, regardless of funding. We ask that recipients be able to pay at least the minimal/or pro-rated @$600 for housing to defray the cost of providing the basic of services. TRM has several sponsorships available through community assistance, area churches, annual fundraising & long term supporters who are dedicated to the mission of the ministry.
