Directors Message:

Greetings!  2010 is another challenging year, always a new beginning for  Thiessen Roadhouse Ministries.  We are excited and would like you to join us in experiencing "a Freshness" in strengthening the lives of  each mother that will grace our door step this year. Our website gives just that opportunity to share with you our supporters and our community, to tell you about our accomplishments.  You will  meet our mother of the month or our current or past graduates that our featured in our newsletters, upcoming events, incredible volunteers, awarded recognition  for the ministry, outstanding committed contributors, pledging for a better choice, current needs of interest, and perhaps how you can become involved.  All this in our past and present TRM newsletters available for a learned reading experience.  We are committed in providing services that meet the needs of our residents, clients, and enlightening you, our contributors. Last years goals reflected this commitment with each one dedicated and assuming greater responsibility together as a whole.  2010 will not only reflect the immediate needs of the ministry, but our dedication, our energies, and our Faith will reinforce our foundation even stronger for a more structured, long term future.

We live in very challenging times, seeking hope and peace. It is up to each and everyone of us to reach beyond ourselves, to reach beyond our level of comfort. It is our responsibility to make a difference in this society, to touch those who have been wounded, those with broken hearts, and those who are without hope.   Our goal is to ensure that Thiessen Roadhouse Ministries continues to minister in compassion and commitment, and our mission is dedicated to protect, be a voice for the unborn child, and preserve, " The Sanctity of Life".

We hope that you will arrive at a better understanding of our mission, goals, and the services we provide.  We also invite you to come for a "Tea & Tour" to learn more about how you can offer your "Gifts" at Thiessen Roadhouse.  Your ideas and interest  is extremely important  to contribute in our mother's growth and development, as well as your visit,  essential to them, and the fact they know someone cares.  Please come and visit with us, anytime, this will give us a special time to get to know each other in a more personal way, the mothers love company!

We, the TRM Staff, would like to enlighten our long term contributors who have shared our vision along with us for the past 25 years, and new supporters who have had a heart for the ministry, that we want you to know of our dedication to Thiessen Roadhouse Ministries.  We would like to take the opportunity to let you know that the Executive Director, Board of Directors, the Advisory Board, and all volunteers, have never received salaries of any kind or been compensated for their committed years of service, time, labors, or special gifts.  Their love has always sustained them as they have unselfishly and freely given.  But most assuredly, they have given for the Glory of God and for the mission He has sent them on, being a voice for the unborn child, and honoring the Sanctity of Life through TRM Promise of Life Program.
