Upcoming Events! We have set the date for our next TRM Auction, which will be Saturday @ 5 PM December 6th, 2008 Location will be at the Oregon City Golf Club, located off of Beaver Creek Road. http://www.ocgolfclub.com/events.html (Please go to their website for further information and learn more about this wonderful facility for your next event or just for relaxation, golf and a lot of fun!)
This will be an unforgettable gala evening, as you walk around eating selected appetizers, enjoying the silent auction, and bidding on your favorite items. Always and for most, will be the delicious buffet dinner with an array of delicacies. These wonderful foods are always at their finest with TRM personal caterers, Bistro Catering of Milwaukie, Oregon. Then the tantalizing desserts by, our newest contributors, Morton Foods. They donated to our Ladies Luncheon & Tea this year and our guest are still raving about the incredible chocolate selections. Seating is Limited! This is the time to make reservations for yourself, your company, or your family and friends. You can either purchase individual tickets at $35 or a Corporate Table at $500.

Thiessen Roadhouse is currently taking only "Clean Quality Donations" until the sale. Furniture will be considered or it will have to be delivered just prior to the sale. We are at capacity for large items and we would appreciate your items at that time. Please call for pick-up or drop off small items and leave on front porch. Donation slips/tax deductible available.
"The Bomber and TRM Team-up" Our Car washes each month are so much fun! We meet so many great people and have a wonderful opportunity to introduce the ministry. It is a TRM effort to bring the kids out to experience working as a team and giving their time. They love to dress up and "flag the cars in"! Their just "naturals" at it! ___________________________________________________________ Mark your Calendars Now! 2008 Thiessen Roadhouse Spring, Summer, & Fall Workdays are now in Progress! We have not set particular dates this year, because of everyone's busy schedules, so we are just asking you or your group to come by when you have time to help. Just because it is another year, does not mean volunteers take time off! We at TRM have experienced first hand each volunteers dedication, showing up, and following through with what they started. Their motto has been, and now ours, "We will all keep showing up until the work is done!" Each one of you incredible people are special to us in all you have done. We will have a list of things to do, so you can prepare your group and know what to bring. These are a few things that each of you can accomplished: * Outside raking/pruning/trimming/digging/hauling * Hours of housework & Window washing * Moving things/setting up/tearing down, always! *Lots of "hands on of holding the babies!" * We always make time for fellowship. " Bring a lunch for yourself, we have the juice or water, or if your group comes, let us know and we can potluck and put it all together for a creative banquet!
More details concerning the events will be mailed/e-mailed out to keep you up-dated and informed. If there is anything that you might want to donate for the auction, new/antique items, pledges or straight cash donation, have an event, such as a garage/plant/bake sale, and designate the proceeds/or part of, to TRM for underwriting the event. Our auction meetings are in progress now, at TRM, from, 3pm to 5pm. We will be meeting every Sunday up until the auction Dec. 6, 2008 If you are interested in volunteering, heading up a committee, bringing in new ideas and a freshness to this years benefit auction, we would be so blessed by you joining us. There is a position for everyone! Come and see what "Gift" you can share! You will meet the community of business and friends, as well as new exciting people supporting our worth while cause. "An Event is only as successful as those who believe in it's vision". __________________________________________________________ TRM 1ST YARD SALE OF THE YEAR SUCCESSFUl July 4th Sale was a wonderful time! This was our first yard sale of the year. The weather was in between showers, mild, but nice. We had a nice turn out due to the 4th of July, and the next day on the 5th. We got to see a lot of old faces and committed yard sale supporters! There was a lot of variety of goods to select from and everyone got their "Treasure" to take home! Most items were donated by you, the community, this form of recycling demonstrates a unique partnership of community outreach and results. We were contented to make $300 plus, for our first sale. Our next one will be July 31st, August 1st & 2nd. PLEASE JOIN US! ********************************* "Last year's TRM 2007 4th of JULY YARD SALE FAIR WAS A SUCCESS !" It was Community Outreach that Made a Difference! TRM made a total of $868.00!
It has been fun and a great challenge preparing and serving in the community, but most of all seeing you all again! Sometimes we do not have enough helpers for undertaking such events, so please feel led to come and join us. There is so much for everyone to do, and having fun at the same time! Our next sale will be on July 31st, August 1st and 2nd. We will be selling homemade cookies, cakes, jams & jellies, or anything that you would like to bring, along with our regular items. It will also include handmade items for kitchen, household, family items, children's items, and etc. Tell your talented friends to make something "Unique" to share! We are also inviting you to join us with a table of your own. It is a great partnering time! Think of the wonderful "treasures" together we can sell and at the same time add that special flare, to the " YARD SALE FAIR!" ******************** MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
